Sales Engineer

We’re looking for a creative problem solver with a passion for developing relationships with clients to be our next Sales Engineer! As a Sales Engineer at Universe, you will apply your passion for technology and live entertainment to help drive sales. You will play a key role in supporting our top clients by liaising with senior leadership, sales, and responding directly to client technical needs.

 

What your day would look like:

  • Supporting the sales team by joining calls, and managing sales needs of APIs
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers
  • Participating in security reviews and technical discussions with internal IT, audit, and security teams to address any security or product-related concerns
  • Managing technical aspects for RFP and vendor assessments for clients
  • Sharing sales/product insights and feedback with product team to facilitate new features and updates
  • Improve developer documentation to help make both the internal and external developer experience better
  • Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, communicating issues and possible solutions to upper management

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of business or sales experience, with some technical exposure
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field of study or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Strong leadership skills to own and lead all technical aspects of the sales process
  • Ability to explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience creating detailed technical proposals, implementation plans, and RFP responses
  • Creative problem solver with a passion for sales and developing relationships with clients
