About the Team and Role:
Universe is growing fast and we’re seeking a high-energy, bright, and forward-thinking Business Development Representative to join our Sales team.
As the Business Development Representative (BDR) you will be the first point of contact with prospective customers. You will be responsible for generating demand and interest for Universe while creating a pipeline of business for the Account Executives on your team. You will also manage day to day sales projects that support lead generation and pitches.
You will need to understand our ideal customer profiles, how to identify sources of leads, and how to gather the right information to effectively qualify a lead. Ideal candidates are creative, passionate, and self-driven team players, and who is interested in working in a fast growing environment.
Your main objective will be to source and research new sales leads in the East region, while also managing incoming leads for your territory. You will also coordinate with your AE counterparts to determine the accounts that require research and prospecting activities to secure a sufficient flow of additional qualified opportunities.
